In December 2002, Palm Beach County added the Thozina to Governor’s Riverwalk Reef. This 174-foot freighter, which was donated to the Palm Beach County Artificial Reef Program, now lies in 90 feet of water along four other ships. The reef is quickly becoming a haven for tropical and game fish and is quickly being overgrown in coral.

The Governor’s Riverwalk Reef was created as part of the Palm Beach County Artificial Reef program. It was dedicated in honor of Governor Jeb Bush to commemorate his crime fighting efforts.
