Located just over 3 miles south from the Palm Beach Inlet, the entire area is covered with shallow patch reef not often seen this far north. This reef is known for a steep inside wall that rises from 30 feet in the sand to 20 feet on top. The reef runs north to south with a few fingers projected toward shore. Both hard and soft corals grow in abundance any plenty of fish can be found. More holes and ledges to explore can be found just east. Breaker’s Reef is an excellent drift dive area running nearly two miles north and south.
The GPS coordinates provided here will take you to the former location of the 7-foot statue of King Neptune and his sea turtles. The statue is now gone, but nearby you’ll find some of the most dramatic undercut ledges, overhangs, and swim-throughs.
This is an excellent area for drift diving, not to be missed!
