Great for Beginners
This was a great spot to take a beginner on their first couple of dives. Not too much of a current and an abundance of wildlife, corals, and sponges. Very good for snorkeling too due to the shallow waters. The mooring bouys make access to the site very convenient.

Excellent dive that is easy to reach.
Went out this past Friday with Serenitydiving and a new student completing their Open water dives. Seas were less than two, the buoys were in great shape (Thanks to the tireless volunteer work of Terry Helmers), and the visibility wasn't bad. There was a tide change in progress, so there was a small current. We had a little bit of turbidity. The Lugano is alive with quite a few species of fish and some lobster. You cann moor at either one of the balls and have plenty to look at. The steamer ribs have provided an almost condo like series of homes for the various fish. Depth is about 20 - 30.
Bring the kids along and have a great dive.
