Great wreck with a lot to see
Great day with no one around...except two 350+lb Goliath Grouper hanging out in the pass-through under the ship. There was a strong current, but it was an overall terriffic experience. Make sure to spend time with the pipes and lighthouse around the wreck.

Great little wreck
Very similar to Sea Emperor up north. The framing is an awesome place for schooling fish, made the dive great! Saw one large barracuda, it was content to just hang near the divers. It is able to be penetrated and you can see through it from one side to the other. Would definitely dive again.

Great site with lots to see
Dove this wreck today with my buddies David and Mike. Water temperature was a very comfortable 84F on the bottom (64 feet). I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of structure and interesting things to see. But I was disappointed by the lack of any sizable fish. We had hoped to find some snapper or grouper on this site, but we had no such luck. We did, however, have a nice visit by a local (large!) nurse shark (see photo).
The GPS coordinates given for tis site are very accurate. Our anchor landed right on the barge!

Hog Heaven is a pleasant dive
The barge is easy to penetrate with large openings. There is lots of life in the debri surrounding the wreck. Look for large schools of grunts (See Photos) This is a good macro photo site as the wreck has lots of growth on it. Generaly a very pleasant dive.

Fun Dive
This was my first Ft. Lauderdale dive. I moved from the west coast of Fl (Ft. Myers area) so im easily impressed :) this was a fun dive which was close to the pt. everglades inlet. visibility was about 15 feet and the wreck was neat to look at. there are some large exposed areas that you can enter and easily navigate in and out of. A very clean dive site for so close to heavy traffic. didnt not see much marine life but thats beacause a big charter boat was there right before us. I will be checking a lot of these Ft. Lauderdale sites out very soon and also try to post some pics.
